What can we expect from mail order peaches?
The peaches you’ll receive in our carefully shipped boxes are truly the peaches that have made Georgia the “Peach State.” These peaches come from Fort Valley, Georgia peach farms, where peaches have been farmed and grown for 5 generations over 130 years.
How do you store fresh peaches?
Simply leave your peaches on the counter until they are perfectly juicy and ready to eat. You will never even need to refrigerate them. You know they’re ready to eat when you can smell them (they are a member of the rose family after all), or lightly squeeze them each day until they yield to gentle pressure. Pro tip: look for the background color! Train your eyes to pick out the yellow hues of the peach. When that color turns from vibrant/electric yellow to a pastel/sherbet yellow, it is ready to eat!
